It would take me a hour or more to write about all that we have done. We're trying to do some educational stuff also besides just fun---but mostly fun. One thing we don't do is "play video games and watch tv all the time". That's for sure not good. These are a couple of pics of the rodeos. We've been to 2 but just only put in 1 or 2 pictures. We've had Sammie and Lindy's birthday luau!!! Complete with outfits, leaving tomorrow for Missouri for several days and then the rest of the time, we'll be around home swimming, playing with friends, and many more things. I hope you all enjoy this little bit of Heaven for us!!! The video STILL isn't uploaded!!!
Oh, the movie is at the bottom!!! Okay. Well, you can see what all is going on here-fun, fun, love, love, hugs, kisses, etc.

I hope the movie goes here! It's just one of the MANY movies we took at Arkbuckle Wilderness Area in Oklahoma. We had an absolute ball!!! It was a really neat day trip. I hope this video uploads okay. It's taking a long time!!!

This is a picture of Turner Falls in Oklahoma. We stopped by there after the Arbuckle Wilderness.
This was taken at the timeshares indoor waterpark in E. Texas. We were there several days and really enjoyed this park. Lazy river, wave pool, slides of all kinds, you name and we all did it!!

Here's a picture of Caitlyn in the pond. I guessed I skipped over the ones of Caleb. They had a great time swimming with Kodi and Uncle Les.

Good evening everyone. I wanted to share some sweet pictures and sweet moments with family and friends so far this summer. The kids are absolutely WONDERFUL!!! We are having such a great time with them. I put as much as I can on here. First, we had their birthday parties. Kimberly made their cakes. An Explorer type of vehicle for Caleb and an Ariel cake for Caitlyn. We had it at the waterpark with many in attendance. I didn't take pictures of all the people there!!

We are having such a wonderful time with the kids so far!!! Christopher and I took them to Arbuckle Wilderness on Monday and we were mauled by all the llamas, camels, donkeys, etc. I'll have to post the movie later if possible. Tonight we're going to try and go to the Blue Ridge Rodeo. It is looking a little rainy but the weather is supposed to move on. Mutton Busting is full so Caitlyn can't participate tonight. We'll have to get to another rodeo for that. Right now, they are swimming with Poppy at the natatorium. They've been there 3 1/2 hours so far!! Poppy will be pooped!! They won't though. Well, have a wonderful evening.

I have a couple of cute pictures of Zachary I'm going to include. After Sunday, I'll have more pictures with Caleb and Caitlyn in them!!!! Christopher leaves on Saturday to go and get them. We have several things planned so far for them. Birthdays, swimming parties, you name it and we'll do it. We're going on vacation also. One place is to the timeshares in E. Texas. Anyway, I wanted to put these pictures on. The first one is Zachary touching and feeding the dolphin at Sea World in San Antonio. The other cute one is of him after he put sand in his mouth. Anyway, it's really cute. More later.

You all aren't going to believe this!!! Well, our trip to Key West with Larry was so much fun and I'd go again in a minute. I don't remember if I blogged about slipping down an embankment and hurting my left leg and my right hand. Well, it's continued to bother me-the hand that is ever since we got home so I went to see the greatest nurse practioner- Ms. Stephanie and she ordered x-rays. The report came back that "there is suspicion that there is a fracture in one of the bones in my hand just above my wrist!!!" I've NEVER had a broken bone so now on Monday, the day after the kids get here, I have to go to the orthopaedic Dr. to see if it's broken. Ohhhh man!!! I can't believe this. Oh well, like Kimberly says, God is in control and He knows what He's doing!!! Praise Your Holy Name, Jesus. Anyway, I'll keep you posted. We had a great vacation in the Hill Country and even went to Sea World in San Antonio. Bryan had never been there and we had a great time. Well, gonna go for now cause the wrist is beginning to ache since I have the brace off. I can't type with the brace on and besides, it needs a break-a little play on words there!!!

Okay, here are bunny pictures from the babies in the backyard. They are so sweet. I think we have 4 in the hole under the windmill.

Okay you all, twice in 2 days!! I'm posting. I'm so excited that we got Caleb AND Caitlyn's "code" for their pictures in Maryland playing sports. The man at the place where we ordered Caleb's kindly looked Caitlyn's up for me. Thank you group photographers for doing that. We appreciate it very much. They aren't the best looking yet as they copies of copies but that'll do until we get the real thing. We have a little over 2 weeks before they come for the summer. We're so excited and so are they. We have ALOT planned even though their letters didn't come back that we asked them to fill out, which they did. It was a letter to each of them, letting us know what kind of things they'd like to do over the summer. We were told they were mailed, but haven't made it. Anyway, we don't need letters to tell us what our grandchildren enjoy!!! Hope you like their pictures. By the way, Zachary is "Officially" walking now all by himself! Hard to believe he's growing so fast. Anyway, just wanted to post Caleb and Caitlyns pictures.

Hey everyone, Sorry it's been so long since I blogged. I've been out of town for a week and getting ready to leave again. We were in Key West for 1 week on board my brother's 52 foot cruiser. Did I scare you just a little bit. Well, here is Cigano-all 52 feet of her.

I'm so happy for my brother Larry.
We saw some beautiful sunsets while we were there and just as beautiful water. We went out to the Marquesas Keys, west of Key West and also to Boco Grande. AWESOME!!! The water is so pretty, clear, greenish-blue, etc. The bottom was about 6-8 feet deep. By the way, this is Segundo-the dingy.

We were blessed enough to get to also see the natural phenomon called, The Green Flash! It occurs at dusk as the sun is setting. It happens so fast and I couldn't get it onto the camera very
successfully. We had such a great time swimming, boating, talking, eating, etc. Larry's hospitality was awesome and we really did have a great time. We hope to meet him maybe this summer on the Ten-Tom Waterway. We'll see. Here are more shots that we took while there.

Well, these are a few of the pictures. I hope you enjoy looking at them.

Good morning everyone, Well today I'm happy to report that we are once again "grandparents." The wild finches had a baby in the cowboy boot on the back porch. There was only 1 baby. Now that it has learned to fly-practicing in the garage, the little family has flown off. :( I have another sinus infection this week-slowly getting better. I hope you all have a good day today and God Bless.

Gee, I can't believe it's been so long since I wrote on my blog. Many things have happened since then. Kimberly is now a Pampered Chef chef and doing well. Kimberly, Zachary and I went to Missouri last week because we were putting new flowers on graves of my family. My mom and I used to make little fun trips so we decided that we wanted to do the same thing. Springfield was just the first trip of hopefully many to come. We had a great time. Zachary is now 14 months old today-that's hard to believe also. Bryan and I are going to Key West next week to see my brother Larry who lives on his boat, Cigano. We'll be there for a week and then we'll get back, have a party for the twins and be ready to leave again for the Silverleaf timeshare in Canyon Lake, Texas. Shortly after that, Caleb and Caitlyn will be arriving for the summer!!! So excited about that!! We have vacation plans galore with them, so it'll be a busy summer. I've included a couple of pictures of Z and later on, there will be MANY of Caleb and Caitlyn!!! I am going to try and download a cute video of Bryan and Duchess. I hope you all have a great week. I will when I start feeling better-sinus again. See ya'll later and remember Jesus loves you.

Thursday, April 22, 2010

Well, Kimberly and I made our first candles today. They are little ones to be used as a little gift after our Pampered Chef party on Monday evening. Man, do they smell good!!!! It was fun, east, quick. I think we'll enjoy making things like this. We are both "crafty" in a good way. Well, we are probably a little "crafty" in a different way too. ha ha Well, gotta go for now so take care.

I know, I know, it's been AGES since I wrote!!!! Sorry to you all. It's a beautiful day here on the acre and I've been enjoying it alot. I planted 3 knock-out rose bushes this morning. Everything is blooming so beautifully. Bryan is feeling so much better than he was over the last 2 weeks. He had a bad sinus infection and he's finally better. Even Duchess' allergies have been bad. She's on medication to. The kids' fort/swingset is all finished except for water proofing. I did a little patch this afternoon to see how it dries and what it looks like. We are excited for Kimberly. She is starting her own Pampered Chef business and she and I are going to start a candle business with difusers, sprays, etc. It's called AngeLove. We are excited about that too. The kids will be here 2 months from today!!!! Yeah!!!! We are working "on their list" of to-do's for the summer. Vacation, swimming, other excitement. Christopher is really liking his new job and we are so happy for him. He's doing well and looking forward to the summer with his children. We miss them so much. Bryan and I are going to Florida-to the keys in May to see my brother Larry again. He's on his boat and it's so nice to get away for a few days. We're excited about that. I'm hoping that my brother Wayne will join us for a couple of days. We'll see. Relay for Life is in 1 1/2 weeks and we're looking forward to that. Should be fun going out there in McKinney for the Survivor lap!!! Well, gonna get going for now so take care, God Bless, and talk to Jesus!!!

My new little picture is of David, Linda, Bryan and I at the volcano Kailua in Hawaii. It was so cool looking!!!

Thursday, March 18, 2010

Here is the lei we got at Paradise Cove. Bryan made this into a heart. Isn't he sweet?
David and Bryan at one of the many blow holes on Oahu
Me and 2 of the dancers!!! The guy to my left is the "fire dancer" from Samoa!!
Self explanatory
I found a couple more pictures from Hawaii I wanted to put on here. Again, I say, we had a GREAT time!!!!!

Wednesday, March 17, 2010

His first "official" birthday party at Grammy and Poppy's
Kimberly "introduced" him to his cake "The Mexican Way"!! It was so funny to get cake in his face.

He's so cute!!!
This was at Friday's after his Dr. appt. Kimberly and I took him there and he played with his ice cream.
It was too cold and he didn't like it-very much.
Now I'll move onto Zachary's first birthday party and the different celebrations that we had.
Here we are finishing our ride on the helicopter on Kaui. It was so cool!!!!
This is Kailua volcano. She has been only steaming and wasn't blowing any lava while we were there which was disappointing to me.
We are top of Haleakala volcano which is at 10,000 feet elevation at this point. It was absolutely beautiful!!!
This is from our ship lanai or patio. David and Linda were right next to us. We had such a GREAT time!!!
We are at the Arizona Memorial touring all the things that are there at the site before going over to the actual Arizona.
Well, I'm FINALLY getting around to putting pictures of the January Hawaii trip with David and Linda on here!! Uhhh, I WENT in January and this is March?? Yeah yeah I know. I have other things that keep me busy. We really did have a wonderful time and I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

he loves this big bear that Judy gave him. It's all around his neck!!He's patty caking and learning how to play peek a boo

This is the "new Batman"!!!!
The carseat that he gets to sit in after tomorrow!!!! We're all so excited
Hello to all. It's a beautiful day even with the clouds!!! I got to hear our little finch singing outside this morning as I do every morning during my Bible study. The tree's are getting ready to bloom also. The weeds got sprayed yesterday so hopefully changes will happen where they are concerned!!!! Tomorrow is a great day-Zachary was born 1 year ago!!! I can't believe it-it's gone so fast. Here are a few of the latest pictures of him. I sure wish Caleb and Caitlyn could be here to help celebrate this day. Maybe some day though. We're looking forward to this summer-already with them. I thank God everyday for them and pray for them that He holds them safely in His Hands!!! We miss them so much and think of them everyday and pray for them everyday also. Zachary goes to the Dr.s tomorrow-1) his 1 year check-up, and 2) his hematologist appt. Kimberly's on the phone, Zachary didn't sleep ANY last night-bet it's the ears!! So, anyway, here are the latest pictures of this boy. I KNOW you'll enjoy them.

Friday, February 26, 2010

Good morning world. I've been working all this week and today I'm "off"! Of course, you all know I'm ALWAYS "off". hahaha. Anyway, I've had a great and wonderful week being a nurse again. I LOVE those kids. One little boy yesterday told me, as I prepared to do a CBC on him, said "I don't like blood, What's going to happen to my skin?" He was so cute!!! That's why I always loved kids. They are so sweet and precious. Everyone at the office is so fun to work with. Of course, they ALL love the Z-man. His birthday is coming up-almost 1 year!!! Okay, L & K, let's get another one!! Well, you all have a great day and more pictures to come-one of these days.

Friday, February 12, 2010

After playing in the snow, he went to sleep sitting up with his head down on his favorite burp rag. So funny!!!
He didn't really know what to think of the snow and wasn't real fond of sitting outside on a plastic bag to "enjoy?" it!!!
Here is a picture of Bryan and I with our rather medium size snow polar bear with acorn eyes and nose.

Good morning world!!!! Man, it's certainly beautiful out there!!! Just love it, the snow was so pretty last night, you didn't need any lights to see outside-it just glistened! I wonder if we'll enjoy snow in Heaven???? Who knows!! We've had between 9-11 inches!!! Most snow we've had since the 70's the weather station says. We lost power last night during the night and our coffee was "stovetop coffee" this morning but with a gas stove, we had pancakes and eggs for breakfast. We've been in our jammies all morning with housecoats and the power finally came back on a little while ago. Thank You Jesus for electricity!!! It's just a beautiful day out there. Well, I'll close for now so I hope you all have a good day too!!! We took Zachary out also while he was still here while his mommy and daddy were out camping!!! BURRRRRR we had more fun. Zachary is fascinated with the snow. They are at home now building their own snowman. I'm sure I'll have more pictures to share later.

WHO DOES SAINT'S????? Way to go guys!!! So proud of you all. Our Sunday School teacher said that he felt the Saint's would win because Jesus rode into Jerusalem on the back of a Colt!! I thought that was great. We had our Sunday School class(Adult Bible Fellowship-ABF) over and we had a great time. We had about 12-15 or so. Duchess didn't know what to do with so many people to try and beg from!!! hahaha. No I still don't have any Hawaii pictures ready to go yet. I'm still having dental problems still-no root canal tomorrow because of the infection. I'm beginning to wonder if I need a different antibiotic. Will check that out tomorrow. Still on pain meds too!!! I DID start working with a Personal Trainer at the natatorium last week. I'm trying to prevent myself from injuring myself by doing too much. I'm going to loose the weight and get stronger also. I'm excited. I just got to get this mouth fixed first before I can really get into it. The pain just wears me out!! I may have a picture of Zachary getting his first haircut on this computer. I'll have to check. I wanted to move this picture on down but I couldn't get it to go. This is a picture of "the twins" in Zachary's bed together. It's hard to believe that Zachary is almost 11 months old and that Kodi is only 1 week behind him. Kimberly has Kodi in some obedience training-she's kind of hard to get to follow directions. Of course Kodiak was easy to train but she was trained in a different way. Duchess is laying right here beside me on the couch all stretched out on her back with her feet in the air. She had a busy evening in her "saint" attire. Of course she wore her black coat and had yellow bows in her hair. She was sure hoping that people would feel sorry for her and give her snacks also. Zachary was the only one that contributed a cracker to her and boy she gobbled it up as if it was steak. I'm going to close for now so you all have a great week and I'll write again soon. Hey, while I'm thinking about it-if you'd like to help the people of Haiti, our church is working with the mission board and have a great plan. You can go to www.cottonwoodcreek.org and look for a page about the buckets for Haiti. There are specific directions and specific foodstuff's they need. We're doing it all this month. If you want to help but would rather just give money, you can do that too either to me and I'll use it to put together buckets or send donations to the church. This is a great mission project. Love to all!!!!!

Good evening all. Well, Bryan and I just got back from 5 days and nights in Galveston. We had so much fun even though it was cold. We walked on the beach (and froze to death), coffee on the balcony, and had a great visit with some friends that used to live here. We really did have a good time. I'm thankful for joining the Silverleaf Timeshare company. I still haven't done the pictures of Hawaii and now I have some of Galveston due to Hurricane Ike. He did ALOT of damage to that area. We had some really good seafood and one place was called Shrimp and Stuff. Yummy!!!! We bought some GREAT seafood at a place called Allex's fresh seafood. It was REALLY good!!! We're glad to be home for awhile however something else will come up later and we'll be off again. Love ya'll.

Friday, January 22, 2010

A--Lo----HAAAAAA, We had a wonderful time in Hawaii!!! The cruise was wonderful. David and Linda really enjoyed it and so did we. Kauai is my favorite of the islands and I'd live there if I was asked to move there for some reason. We took a helicopter trip over it and it is beautiful. I was disappointed though because Kilauea wasn't flowing any lava so the rest didn't get to see anything like that. We had a really good time. We're home now and then next week, Bryan and I are going to our resort in Galveston for several days. That should be great to. After I take time to get the pictures put onto the computer, I'll post a few. While we were gone, Zachary cut another tooth and has another pushing through. That would bring the total to 5. He's really crawling now, pulling up, and babbles some. Da-da, ma-ma, ba-ba, and then just whatever. We are doing okay. I've started working with a personal trainer to help me get myself back in order. We've only met 1 time though, so it should be an adventure. Keep you posted. Okay gotta go so I can do tax stuff for the IRS :( Have a great day.
