Outgoing, fun-loving, love my children and grandchildren. I'm trying to enjoy life a little more and not just sit around!! Life is too short not to enjoy every minute that God gives us.

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are having a good day. Mine's been busy. I had to see the endocrinologist today because I have diabetes. Well, I've been a bad girl!!!! I HAVE got to get back onto track. I was doing so well and then 'fell off the wagon!' I guess everyone needs a break along the way. In 3 months, when I go back, I'll be back on track and he will be happy. It's not hard, I just have to do it. It's a beautiful HOT day today but hopefully the cool front's on it's way. Oh boy, nothing better than sleeping with the attic fan on and enjoying cool air that's not air conditioned. Nothing really new here so I'll go for now. God Bless

Hurricane Rita went right by us without giving us any rain. We were disappointed but happy for those that didn't get blown away. We are really dry here.
ummmm I smell lasagna cooking in the oven. Anyone hungry????
I had my first lesson on how to set up the blog. My daughter is just slightly wonderful in my eyes. She is such a joy to me!!!! She has a wonderful laugh that make all who hear it smile.
My son is wonderful also. He just lives 1500 miles away so I'm not able to have as much fun with him as I do my daughter. Thank you Jesus for daughters.
We went out on the boat last night and had fun. Tried fishing but to no avail. It was fun though even if we didn't catch anything. The company was the best--just all being together.
I gotta go for now because lasagna is almost done and I gotta make the toast, salad, and dessert.

I wanted to include pictures of my husband Bryan and I so here are some of us holding Caitlyn at 2 months old. This is taking forever to get a picture on here!!! I get very impatient with the computer. I'm one of those people you see in the cartoon throwing a shoe through the screen. Sorry, I try to be patient and God IS working on me but it's hard. Finally!!! This is my daughter also. I'll put a picture of my son on here also. I don't have a picture of my daughter in law-I don't know why either but I don't. Well, I guess this is enough "brain work" for me today. I hope you enjoy this site and visit whenever you want. God Bless You All and read in The Bible about what the Lord thinks of YOU!!!! Jeremiah 29:11-13. These verses mean a lot to me. Also, Is. 40:31. Have a great evening.
Hello there all people. My daughter has encouraged me to create this blog so here it goes. I don't really know what I'm doing as you'll be well aware in a few minutes. It should be fun though. I'm sure there will be lots of mistakes--hahaha. Wish me luck. I can hear on the TV the discussion about Hurricane Rita. I'm praying that it comes to Texas instead of hitting LA again. I don't think they could take it again. My brother lives in Covington and I don't think his family could take it again!!! Besides, we need the rain. I live in North Texas so we're really dry. I will tell you a little about me. I'm a busy lady but always have time for family and friends. I have 2 grandchildren and 2 children. I'll add pictures. I hope you have a great day and give me hints on this page.
This is Miss Caitlyn. She's 5 months old now.
Caleb is 4 years old and is in pre-k. Kodiak is my 18 month old granddogger. I have two children who are grown. Christopher is 30 years old and the father of the two human children and Kimberly is the 'mother' of Kodiak. Kodiak lives very close to us while Caleb and Caitlyn live in Maryland. It's tough being so far away from them. If you are reading this and you are fortunate enough to have your grandchildren close to you...enjoy it and praise the Lord daily for that very special gift!!!! I'm going now so see ya again sometime.
